President of the Australian Senate Sue Lines lead a delegation to visit Goldwind

n October 14th, Senate President Lines led a delegation consisting of Australian parliamentarians to visit Goldwind together with Australian Ambassador Scott Dewar. Goldwind’s President, Cao Zhigang, accompanied by the executive management team, extended a cordial welcome to Lines and her delegation. They visited the first renewable energy carbon-neutral campus in China, the Goldwind Beijing Yizhuang Campus, to gain insights into Goldwind’s global business strategies and accomplishments.

Delegation visits Goldwind Campus

During the meeting, President Cao Zhigang stated that as a reliable global strategic partner in clean energy, Goldwind has been committed to promoting energy transformation and innovating for a brighter tomorrow. Goldwind has been operating locally in Australia for 15 years, working closely with local investors, banks, and industry chain partners, contributing approximately 2GW of wind power equipment to Australia, with projects spread across several states. Goldwind, in collaboration with local partners, has developed and delivered high -quality projects, including the 530MW Stockyard Hill Wind Farm ,which is one of the largest operating wind farm in the Southern Hemisphere——making a solid contribution to Australia’s energy transition.

President of the Australian Senate Sue Lines expressed her gratitude for Goldwind’s hospitality and the demonstration of renewable energy solutions, looking forward to more contributions from Goldwind to Australia’s renewable energy development and the continuous advancement of sustainable development goals.

The year 2024 marks the 10th anniversary of the establishment of a comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Australia.
